« 7 Signs Of A Great Babysitter | Main | How A Babysitter Saved My Family Vacation »

Tutors are a great idea. I have used them every year for my son (he's entering the 5th grade this year) not because he's slow, but because I think it's the best way to ensure that he's grasping all the concepts and doesn't get behind. It's the one on one attention that makes tutors worth their weight in gold!

Kids have so much to do in these days they don't have time to be a kid all these things we push them to do is it what they want are us I wander what dose it take to say enough already !let kids grow into a great person that they are it's ok to give Structurebut will they Resent you in the long run think about it !

I can honestly say getting a tutor over the summer for your child is one of the best ways to prepare them for the whole school year. My math skills were very poor, despite doing homework and paying as much attention as I could. After receiving about a month of tutoring from a teacher at my school, I went through the whole of my junior year with excellent grades in math.

Thanks for the share. I agree with @Noelle on this one. Both of my sons have always struggled in school, so we recently began getting them tutors for the summer so they wouldn't forget anything over the break. Luckily for us the tutors here in the bay area are some of the best in the country and we have seen both of our sons standardized test scores increase substantially.

I am wondering if one should expect to pay extra for a child who requires one on one care? This would be because of physical strength, no communication ability, behavior issues and social skills when around others. This type of care would be more practical in the house of the parents. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
